Terms of use
Last updated: 28 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Brunotech Private Limited, a company registered in India, which runs Jamqor ("we", "us"). By using the Jamqor app or this website you agree to them, and to our Privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Jamqor.
1. Who can use Jamqor
- You must be at least 13 years old in India (or the minimum age where you live, if higher).
- If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must agree first, and they accept these terms for you. Some features (ads, payments, pages, leaderboards) are not available under 18.
- You may not use Jamqor if the law or a court has barred you from it, or if we closed an earlier account of yours for serious or repeated breaks of these terms.
2. Your account
One account is for one person, signed in with your own phone number. Keep your phone and sign-in codes to yourself: anything done from your account counts as done by you. Tell us at once at help@jamqor.com if you think someone else is using it. Don't pretend to be someone else, and don't buy, sell or hand over accounts or handles.
3. Your content
What you post stays yours. So that we can run Jamqor, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to store, show, share and format your content in line with the audience you chose, for as long as it is on Jamqor (and for the time the law makes us keep it after). You can delete your posts at any time. You are responsible for what you post, and you must have the right to post it.
4. The house rules
As India's Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 require, you must not post, share or send anything that:
- belongs to someone else and you have no right to use, or breaks a copyright, trademark or other right;
- is obscene or pornographic, invades someone's bodily privacy, or shows sexual abuse of a child in any form;
- harasses, insults or bullies someone, or attacks people for their religion, caste, gender, ethnicity or similar;
- is harmful to children;
- deceives people about where a message came from, or knowingly spreads information that is false or misleading;
- impersonates another person, including through edited or made-up pictures, audio or video;
- is a picture, audio or video made or changed with software to look real, posted without saying so (we may label such posts as made or changed);
- threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, its relations with other countries or public order, or incites an offence;
- contains viruses or code meant to harm or take over devices or systems;
- promotes gambling or online games not allowed by Indian law, or is otherwise against the law.
Also don't spam, run fake accounts, buy followers or reach outside Jamqor's own tools, scrape the app, or try to get around a block or a limit.
5. Alerts and notes on posts
A note on a post shows what people and trusted sources found about it, with their sources. Notes help you judge; they can be incomplete or mistaken, and they are not legal, medical or financial advice. If you think a note on your post is wrong, you can ask us to look again from the post.
6. What we may do
If content or an account breaks these terms or the law, we may hide or remove the content, limit who sees it, give a strike, pause features, or close the account. Unless the law or someone's safety stops us, we tell you what we did and why, and you can appeal in the app. We act on orders from courts and government as the law requires.
7. Paid features
Plus, Plus Pro, promoting a post and plans for pages are optional. Prices, including GST, are shown in the app before you pay. Subscriptions renew each month until you cancel; you can cancel any time, and the time you've paid for stays. Payments are taken by our payment provider under its own terms. Refunds follow what the app shows at the time you buy, and what the law requires.
8. Our service
We work to keep Jamqor running and safe, but we provide it "as is": it may sometimes be unavailable, change, or lose features. We may add, change or stop features; if we stop a paid feature you have paid for, we refund the unused part. Content from other people is theirs, not ours, and we don't promise it is true or complete.
9. Responsibility
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from other people's content, from your use of the app against these terms, or that could not reasonably be foreseen; and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or ₹1,000, whichever is higher. Nothing here limits what the law does not allow to be limited.
10. Leaving Jamqor
You can delete your account at any time in the app (how); you have 30 days to change your mind. Some records are kept for the time the law requires, as the Privacy policy explains.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction. Before going to court, please write to our Grievance Officer: most problems are settled there. If you are not satisfied with their decision on a complaint, you can appeal to the Grievance Appellate Committee set up by the Government of India (gac.gov.in) within 30 days.
12. Changes to these terms
When we change these terms, we update the date at the top and, if a change matters to you, tell you in the app or by email before it applies. Using Jamqor after that means you accept the new terms.
